SAVANNAH — Students attending Savannah Technical College’s Liberty Campus have more options than ever in pursuing business career paths by enrolling in the management and supervisory development program. Students may earn an associate’s degree, diploma or human resources specialist technical certificate of credit, which is also embedded in the degree.
Susan Pinkston, who heads the program, said she has more than 125 majors enrolled at the Savannah campus. “I know there will be great interest in MSD in Liberty,” Pinkston said. “It’s perfect for people who work in small businesses, own a business or who want to advance in the management arena and need a wide range of knowledge as they take on more responsibility.”
The program gives students insight into accounting, economics, management, human resources, leadership, business ethics and employment law.
The Liberty Campus also offers marketing, accounting and computer information systems programs.
“Our business programs are among our most popular,” said Terrie Sellers, dean for student affairs. “We continually hear how helpful this curriculum is in the workplace.”
Fall quarter classes start Sept. 29. For information about the management and supervisory development program, e-mail Pinkston at spinkston@savannahtech.edu or call 912-443-5082.
