Serena Burkart, a fourth-grader at Frank Long Elementary, was the top Accelerated Reader participant for January.  She eared 60.1 points with 95 percent accuracy.  
“Serena loves to read and always has a book with her,” said Kristine Christner, Serena’s teacher.
Serena has been named the top reader three times.
