Caleb Sanker will have his artwork displayed for all Bradwell Institute students to see in the coming years.

Sanker, who graduated from BI in May, painted the 2016 senior class gift depicting a tiger, the school’s mascot. He presented the 5-foot-by-6-foot canvas to Principal Scott Carrier at graduation.

Another piece of artwork from Sanker will be displayed in the Washington office of U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga.

As previously reported in the Coastal Courier, Sanker participated in the annual juried high school art exhibition for Georgia’s 1st Congressional District, hosted by Armstrong State University in March.

The ultimate prize of the exhibition was having the work displayed in a tunnel that connects the Cannon House Office Building with the U.S. Capitol, and would be seen by members of Congress and staff.

Sanker’s piece was not chosen to be featured in Cannon Tunnel, but was chosen to hang on Carter’s wall.

Sanker will attend Georgia State University in the fall.
