Writing contest at library for youth

Live Oak Public Libraries are accepting entries for the 2010 Young Writers Contest. Entry deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 20. The contest is open to children in grades kindergarten through college. Students are asked to write a poem using five words selected from the books of the authors and illustrators in this year’s Savannah Children’s Book Festival.
