The New and Not Shop on South Main in downtown Hinesville was damaged in a fire Sunday night.

According to Hinesville Fire Department Capt. Chris Moss, when firefighters arrived they encountered a fire outside the rear of the business.
Moss said they were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
The rear of the consignment store suffered smoke damage and minimal fire damage.
It is believed the fire may have started inside a trash can, investigators are attempting to determine what may have caused the fire.
