Four people escape blaze at Allenhurst home
Alenhurst fire
Firefighters arrived on the scene early Friday morning to find an Allenhurst home fully engulfed in flames.
An early morning fire destroyed an Allenhurst home, leaving four people displaced.
According to Walthourville Police Chief Chris Reed, a family of four made it out of the home safely on the 1400 block of Dunlevie Road.
When police and Walthourville firefighters arrived shortly after 12:30 a.m. Friday morning, the single story home was fully engulfed in flames.

It is unknown where or how the fire started at this time.  The Red Cross, according to Reed, has been called to assist the family.
