The Hinesville Police Department will host its annual Safe Kids Day 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Bryant Commons, 438 W. Oglethorpe Hwy.
The educational campaign focuses on life-saving programs and measures by community organizations to educate children and their families on how to keep safe.
It will include a dunk tank, bounce houses, games, fingerprinting, tutorials on bicycle and gun safety, drunk driving education, courses on car seat installation and more. This event is free.

Also Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Liberty County YMCA will have its Healthy Kids Day in and around the Y, 201 Mary Lou Dr. It is free and is supposed to inspire healthy living.
