The Liberty County Development Authority (LCDA) announces its inaugural Advisory Council. This diverse and distinguished group of community, business, and government leaders form an advisory council that was created to strengthen community engagement in LCDA’s mission: to attract business investment and job opportunities, support existing industries, expand the tax base, and enhance the standard of living in Liberty County. The council will provide insight, share ideas, foster collaboration, and help to promote the highest vision for the community and region.

Each member of the LCDA Board of Directors appointed a representative to serve on the council. Additional members were selected based on the vital leadership positions they hold within the community. These include the executive director of the Liberty Consolidated Planning Commission, president and CEO of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau, president and CEO of the Liberty Regional Medical Center, superintendent of Liberty County Schools, garrison commander of Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield, administrator for Liberty County, and manager of the City of Hinesville.
