According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper, Jonathan Edwards an accident involving a Liberty County School System bus occurred when a woman driving a 2015 Lexus attempted to enter the intersection of Old Hines Road onto Old Sunbury Road in the direction of Fort Stewart today aroud 3:30 p.m.

The woman pulled into the path of a school bus carrying children. The school bus struck the Lexus causing it to spin into the path of another vehicle. According to Edwards no one was transported to area hospitals.  The woman was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
