Liberty County School System District Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl winners, Lyman Hall Elementary and Midway Middle attended the Southern Regional Bowl this past weekend and brought home First Place trophies in both the elementary and middle school categories. 

Approximately 300 South Georgia students competed in the reading comprehension quiz bowl that was held at Valdosta State University. 

Lyman Hall and Midway Middle reading bowl teams will move on to compete at the divisional level on Saturday, March 7, at Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro campus. Teams who win at the division level will proceed to the state finals that will be held on March 28 at the University of Georgia.
