More than 300 Georgia CASA affiliates, including 13 volunteers and staff from the Bryan, Liberty, Ware and McIntosh counties of Atlantic Area CASA, attended the annual CASA Day at the Capitol in Atlanta on Feb. 14.

The day included meeting with Rep. Al Williams, D-Midway, and Sen. Jack Hill, R-Reidsville, and Sen. Tyler Harper, R-Ocilla, to ask for continued support of CASA and child welfare issues.

CASA works to make sure a qualified, compassionate adult will fight for and protect a child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect and to learn and grow in the safe embrace of a loving family. You can lift up a child’s voice. A child’s life. For more information about CASA, visit www.atlanticcasa.org or call 912-876-3186 or email atlanticareacasa@gmail.com
