Christmas in the Park will affect traffic and parking in downtown Hinesville on Monday. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and roads will close beginning at 3 p.m.
Main Street will remain open to thru-traffic but Commerce and Midway streets and part of East Court street will be closed. Cars should be moved out of parking spots on these streets no later than 2:30 p.m. to allow event organizers and vendors to prepare.
