The Hinesville Housing Authority is pleased to announce a rebranding of the agency and its nonprofit entities, as well as the launch of its new website, http://hinesvillehousingauthority.org.

Designed by Speros, a full-service technology company headquartered in Savannah, the site has been refreshed with new and innovative features to offer better connectivity and service to the community.

“Since the world is connected by social media, it was logical to launch a new website and accompany it with other social media resources to stay connected to our residents, the community and potential business partners,” said Melanie Thompson, CEO of the housing authority.

“The updated website will assist the authority in accomplishing its mission and vision of being the housing solution provider within Liberty County by continually providing updated information of the wonderful work that we are doing and the extensive housing development opportunities that will create more sustainable communities.”

The site has been equipped with increased security protocols to protect vital account information and provides more easily accessible information to the operations of the housing authority and its governing board, she said.

“I see this as an important tool in empowering our residents and being able to keep them informed,” said Joe Ford, chairman of the authority’s board of commissioners. “We want the local community to explore our website and be informed about the great asset that the housing authority is and the vital role we play, not just in the lives of our residents but in the community as a whole.”

The upgrade was coordinated by Regional Director Chip Adams of the company’s Hinesville office, which was opened in 2015 to provide technology solutions for businesses in Liberty County and surrounding areas.

Adams worked alongside web and graphics designer Lauren Dingus, who developed the new site and facilitated the transition process.

“Speros was accommodating and respectful of our budget and timeline,” said Krystal Hart, the housing authority’s public relations and marketing consultant. “If we were in need of assistance with photography, design work or third-party tools, they stepped up and offered those services as well. There were times we had to pause the project because we didn’t have the necessary information, but Lauren was patient and guided us through everything.”

Since its creation in 1959, the Hinesville Housing Authority has been striving to improve the quality of life for those in the community by ensuring that everyone regardless of race, age, background or socioeconomic status has place to call home.

Its mission is to be a creator of viable housing solutions and to aggressively evolve into a premier provider of housing options in Liberty County.
