A Liberty County man was stabbed during a domestic dispute Sunday afternoon and later rushed to the hospital.

The stabbing was reported shortly before 2 p.m., but may have occurred earlier, according to Liberty County Sheriff's Office Detective Julie Buttress.

The victim was transported from a mobile-home park on Live Oak Church Road to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, where he was treated for non-life-threatening wounds. The victim is expected to be released Monday.

A woman wanted in connection with the incident fled the scene and is being sought by authorities.
