A lane on Highway 84 will be closed daily Monday through Friday for road work at a new convenience store, the Georgia DOT announced Saturday.

The store is being built at the highway’s intersection with Airport Road and the DOT granted the contractor a lane closure permit for 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, as a lane is added for access to the store.

There will be signs and cones up. The work may be delayed if it rains.
