Local playwright Donald Lovette will produce and stage the third and final segment of his long-running morality play, “Mama Turn the Radio on,” on Aug. 13-15.

“This was the first play we ever produced,” Lovette said, referring to his theater company, Love-it Productions. “It’s very emotional for us. This is how we got started in Hinesville.”

The first installment of "Mama Turn the Radio on" was staged in August 2007. Lovette said this play is his signature play.
