he “date which will live in infamy,” Dec. 7, when Imperial Japanese forces attacked Pearl Harbor in the U.S. territory of Hawaii in 1941, was observed Dec. 8 by the Disabled American Veterans Hinesville chapter.

Col. John Collins, Winn Army Community Hospital commander, was guest speaker at the event which also featured a replay of Pres. Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s historic radio broadcast, patriotic music and the symbolic tolling of the bell.
