The Department of Defense has identified two Third Infantry Division soldiers who died from wounds sustained in a non-hostile incident in Iraq.
Killed were: Staff Sgt. Darris J. Dawson, 24, of Pensacola, Fla., and Sgt. Wesley R. Durbin, 26, of Hurst, Texas.
The Fort Stewart soldiers were assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
The incident is still under investigation.
