HINESVILLE, GA (August 06, 2021) – The new President of the Rotary Club of Hinesville is Dr. Karen E. Bell.

Bell grew up in Detroit, MI, and came to Fort Stewart in 2004.  This was her last duty station after serving in the military for 26 years.  She is the owner of Rottweiler Vending, J & K Photo Booths, and Ardyss KBell since June 2009.  In 2018 she became the Executive Director of Keep Liberty Beautiful, working for Liberty County, Georgia.  She has been involved in Rotary for five years when in 2017, she joined Hinesville Rotary Club.  Bell has also taken on various roles at the club level, Membership Chair, Sergeant-Of-Arms, committee chairs, and now President.

Outside Rotary, Bell is also very active in the Liberty County community.  She is a member of HMAC, Connection Church Mission Possible Team, Event Lead for Relay For Life Liberty County, Chaplain for DAV Chapter #46, various positions in the American Red Cross, and she is involved with many other charities and local organizations.

Last month at a dinner in the Connection Center, the club thanked the past officers and director for the 2020-2021 year.  Dr.  Karen Bell took on the new role as club president, installed by Assistant Governor 2016 – 2019, Brigitte Cabeza-Shanken.  Remarks made about Bell: Every President must devote a tremendous amount of time and energy to the duties and responsibilities of the office.  It takes a very talented and committed person to balance these responsibilities with personal life and professional life. Our President this year has demonstrated that she will do a remarkable job.
