Hello, everyone. Tight Line Jr. here letting y’all know that Ol’ Tight Line and I are sitting on the porch enjoying the lovely weather.

Well, here are a few reports from around the coastal area.

Robert Moody and Bing Phillips had a nice day fishing at Yellow Bluff Marina. They caught 20 trout.

Phillip Bohannon and his fishing party landed 10 sweet spottail bass.

The dock tour is rolling along once again. Capt. Hippie and I had two spottail bass, two trout, six croaker and Ol’ Hippie caught a spade fish. We were using frozen shrimp, but they were fresh.

Y’all remember to head out to the Blue Crab Festival at the Sunbury Crab Company on Sept. 26. The bands hit the stage at 3 p.m. and we have the Randall Brantleet Band, The David Turner Band, The Eric Culberson Band and The Midway All-Stars slated to play.

If you have any questions, call 884-8640.

Rayburn at Yellow Bluff has live shrimp and minnows. Halfmoon Marina has live shrimp. "Big Rudy" at the Sunbury Country Store has fresh local shrimp and squid. Barney, Joey and Clay at the Sunbury Crab Company and Marina have live shrimp and minnows.

So, remember what Ol’ Tight Line says and get out there and get fishing. And if you do, always remember to keep a tight line. I always say hit the dock, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down. So get out there and wet a hook.

Your buddy,

Tight Line Jr.
