Fish sure are biting
Tight Line

Hello everyone, Tight Line Jr. here. Ole’ Tight Line says hello to all his friends and fisherman. Man, the fish are biting and the shrimp are in the river.
Here are some reports from around the coast. Rob Whitney, Shelton Jones and John Stephenson landed 12 trout and 15 bass. Whitney also went fishing with Steve Ogle netted 20 trout and 10 spot tail bass. That’s two good days on the water.
There were a few boats fishing out of Planting Hammock and they apparently caught the limit on bass and trout.
Well folks, the dock tour is going strong, it has spread all the way to Richmond Hill. “Mr. G” (George Ginter) was out fishing with John Darsey and pulled in 10 spot tail bass, 15 trout and a 27-inch catch and release spot tail bass. Remember that’s off the dock, no boat to wash after that trip.
Boo Hall and I had a small catch, two trout and three nice spot tail.
Rayburn Goodman, from Yellow Bluff, reports having plenty of live shrimp and minnows. Halfmoon reports having live shrimp. So remember what Ole’ Tight Line says, get out there and get fishing. And if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.
I always say hit the dock, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down.

Your Buddy,
Tight Line Jr.
