Liberty County resident angler Kenny Fusell caught a world record Pacific barracuda along the coast of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica on June 4. The International Game Fishing Association recently opened a new category for barracuda declaring them a game fish in the Pacific. Fusell shows off his prize catch along with captain and friend Bobby McGuinness, IGFA’s captain of the year 2006. The Fish weighed 5.2 pounds and was later consumed at happy hour. Fussell would like to thank "Pato" for guarding the fish with his life.
