Tournament to honor Tight Line, Sr.

Hello friends Tight Line Jr. here with something special. Thanks to the owner and operator of the Sunbury Crab Co. and Marina, Barney Maley, the 2008 Liberty Fest Fishing Tournament will honor my father, Allen Branch, by naming him honorary captain for the tournament.
I think it’s a great honor and it’s humbling to know that many people have so much respect for my father.
The tournament is scheduled for July 19 and my father will be at the captain’s meeting on July 18 at the Sunbury Crab Company.
My father and the late Arthur Goodman were the first old salts down here on the coast. He still tells me stories about cold winter days when they would sit around the old wood stove at the Yellow Bluff store playing cards. Goodman, who owned the store, and my father, would sip on something to keep them warm. Thank you to all for the honor you are giving my dad.
I do have fishing reports from Yellow Bluff and around the coast. Don Youmans and his wife Bonnie landed 23 gator trout, 1 bass and 2 flounder. Now that’s a good day.
Jake Horten took out David Rogers and landed 28 trout. Phillip McCully and party landed 32 trout. Don Gleason caught 13 trout and 6 flounder.
So remember what Ole’ Tight Line always says: get out there and go fishing and if you do, remember to always keep a tight line.
Your buddy,
Tight Line Jr.
