Bond was reduced for a man accused of killing a bouncer at Cream Sports Bar in Hinesville. The shooting occurred in December.

Marcus Gunn is charged with murder and aggravated assault and received a bond of $250,000 in March. Monday he was back in court where Liberty County Superior Court Judge Glen A. Cheney reduced the bond to $125,000.

Should Gunn make bond he would live with family in Statesboro, he said.

Gunn is accused of shooting Eric Turner, a bouncer at the nightclub, about 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 10.

Heath said Turner and other bouncers were clearing the parking lot after the club had closed when Turner approached a car with three men in it.

One of them brandished a gun, but it was batted away. That is when Gunn, who was driving, pulled a gun and fired three shots, the detective said, killing Turner.
