Another suspect has been arrested in the Jan. 15 attempted robbery that reportedly began at Liberty Inn & Suites and affected Wells Fargo Bank on Gen. Screven Way.
According to a Liberty County Sheriff’s Office report, Ladonna Yvette Frasier turned herself in Tuesday and is being housed at the Liberty County Regional Jail. She and three other suspects — Terrence Reddish, Robert Lee Reddick and Gregory Devon Washington — are charged with armed robbery, kidnapping and false imprisonment.
The other three suspects already had been arrested in connection with the incident, which reportedly began when the female suspect allegedly helped the three men gain entry into a couple’s hotel room.
The men allegedly threatened the couple with brass knuckles, and two of the men forced the male victim to the bank and demanded that he withdraw money. The third man reportedly stayed at the hotel with the female victim.
The male victim notified the teller that he was being robbed, and bank employees stalled the transaction while triggering a silent alarm.
HPD and Liberty County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the bank and HPD arrested two of the suspects there. The third suspect was arrested two days later.
The female who reportedly was held hostage at the hotel later was found unharmed.
