The EMTs were on scene with a woman in the ambulance, waiting to be transported to the hospital. The EMTs knew who the woman was because there had been multiple incidents regarding suicide attempts with her. The officers asked her if she had taken 10 pills of her prescription medication in order to harm herself, and she said yes.
The woman’s mother said that her daughter is autistic and has multiple-personality disorder.
The mother wasn’t aware that the daughter had any of her medication left and said that she does this to be the center of attention.
