Police noticed the hose was cut, but the woman denied she cut it.

Simple battery — A woman went to a Cherry Street residence to pick up her child. A man at the residence noticed what he thought was a cup of beer in the car and told the woman she could not pick up the child. The woman reportedly became irate and slapped the man several times in the face before getting in her car and driving to her Deerwood Court home. Police spoke to the woman, who denied going to the residence on Cherry Street.
