March 9: Arrest with a warrant — A male passenger was placed under arrest when a check of his license showed he had an outstanding warrant. The man had failed to appear in court in Chatham County.
The man was a passenger in a green Nissan that was stopped due to a broken front windshield.

Matter of record — A man thinks his ex-wife used sidewalk chalk to mark up the side of his car. He didn’t want to pursue criminal charges since the writing easily washed off. He told deputies he suspected his ex-wife because his current wife is expecting their child.

Criminal trespass — A man suspects a group of delinquents entered his empty Lewis Fraiser Road home and used it as a party spot. The man said the place was found littered with open and empty beer and liquor bottles and cans. The owner said incidents like that have happened before.

Speeding — A female Canadian driver was clocked going 27 mph above the speed limit on Highway 405. Since she had a Canadian driver’s license she had to post a bond in the amount of $734.
