crimescenetape

Here are some recent reports filed by deputies at the Liberty County Sheriff's Office:

July 12
DUI, possession of marijuana — A deputy saw a gold Pontiac weave on Highway 84 and followed it to the Parker’s parking lot. The driver said she was tired because she just got off work. However, the deputy smelled alcohol coming from the car. She said she works at the Silver Dollar and was around people who were drinking.
She performed a field sobriety test and provided a breath sample, all showing she was under the influence. When she was arrested, she cussed, yelled and refused to get in the patrol car. The deputy got her inside. He then went to her car and smelled marijuana. Another deputy and his K-9 came to the scene. The K-9 alerted them of drugs in the car.
As this went on, the woman banged on the window, trying to smash it. She was taken to jail.
A deputy found a bottle of brandy, a marijuana roach and a dime bag of marijuana in the car.

Simple battery, family violence — A Fleming woman said her mother came into her room and yelled at her and also hit the complainant in the morning and before the 911 call. The mother said her daughter was told to clean her room, but didn’t, so she started yelling at her because of that. There were no signs of physical contact.
