The complainant said he saw his friend’s 9-year-old daughter, who was riding on a scooter in the area, being chased by a neighbor’s dog. He heard the child scream, then saw the dog chasing her. The officer spoke with the resident who called 911 to report the incident. The officer later spoke with the child’s father, who told the officer the dogs have chased his daughter on several occasions. The officer then contacted the dogs owners, who said they did not realize the dogs were loose. An animal control officer was notified.

Sexual battery
Aug. 6
Montigue St., Riceboro

The complainant advised the officer that just prior to closing the restaurant (McDonald’s), the manager of the Shell Station, came to her and asked her to clean the restrooms. She said she cleaned the women’s restroom and then started cleaning the men’s restroom. While she was cleaning the men’s restroom the offender came in and patted her on her buttocks and made inappropriate comments to her. He then grabbed her breasts and attempted to pick her up and sit her on the counter in the restroom. She said she told him to stop and as he was trying to pick her up, an unknown man walked into the restroom and that’s when the offender walked out. She said at no time did she ask nor provoke the offender into doing this to her.
