A complainant reported her granddaughters told her their 5-year-old cousin was forced by other children to perform an inappropriate act on another juvenile. According to the granddaughters, they over heard one of the offenders talking about the incident. The case is under investigation.

Death investigation
Route 3, Box 360

Authorities are investigating the death of a man found in his room after friends went to check on him. The man had been out with friends until 3 a.m. At that time, it was reported he left with another friend. Police were dispatched around 7 p.m. when they were notified that the friends went over and kicked the door of his room in and found the man unconscious and not breathing.

Traffic incident

Highway 196

Police received a call at 3:50 a.m. regarding cows being on Highway 196. At 4:06 a.m., deputies responded to a traffic incident where a man told officers he had to lay down his motorcycle on the road to avoid hitting several cows. The man sustained injuries and was taken to Winn Army Hospital. The first officer arrived on the scene by 4:12 a.m. but was unable to locate the cows.

A complainant reported his children and one of their friends were asleep in their bedroom when he fell asleep in the recliner in his living room. The man said he woke up to find the juvenile who was spending the night on the floor trying to pull the wallet out of his pants pocket. The complainant said he was missing money before and had blamed his kids but now realized it happened whenever the juvenile spent the night.
