Authorities are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Deborah Gail Moody, 42, of Long County, who has been missing for about 10 days.
"We are still following leads and we are talking to potential witnesses, but as of now we still haven't been able to locate Ms. Moody," Long County Sheriff's Department Chief Det. Ty Smith.
He said search efforts near Moody's home had ceased but the investigation is ongoing.
"We searched the area around Ms. Moody's home using numerous personnel, several dogs and also a helicopter, and we found nothing to lead us to believe that she is there," Smith said. "The case is still being investigated as a missing person case, and as of now we have no evidence to point towards foul play," the detective said.
Moody was last seen when a friend followed her home on Dec. 4 to help her unload a dog pen she had purchased.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the LCSD at (912) 545-2118.
