The Ludowici Police Department and the Georgia State Patrol continued their crackdown on speeding, impaired-driving and occupant-protection violations Thursday through the 100 Days of Heat campaign, which is the largest and most comprehensive traffic education and enforcement campaign in Georgia’s history, according to
The two law-enforcement agencies conducted a roadside check on McDonald Avenue in support of the program, which began May 23 and will continue through Labor Day.
