MACE teams makes 50 cases in July

During July, there were 58 cases and 56 offenders.


The types of crimes were:

Possession of marijuana, criminal attempt to purchase marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, sale of MDMA, possession of MDMA, possession of tools of crime, Medicaid fraud, use of communication facility, possession of firearm during crime, possession of firearm by convicted felon, concealed weapon, probation violation, obstruction of law enforcement officer, suspended driver’s license, open container, speeding, DUI, weaving on roadway, tag light violation, illegal tag transfer, disorderly conduct, crossing guard line, broken windshield.
The total street value was $102,840.
Seized property was one vehicle, valued at $400 and two computers valued at $500.


There were six weapons.

Drugs seized were cocaine rocks, 36; cocaine powder, 9.1 grams; marijuana, 19 ounces; marijuana plants, 31; MDMA, 3.5 pills; Xanax, 4 pills; Lorazepam, 39 pills; Meprozine, 1 pill and drug related objects, 4.
Cases closed this month with no arrests totaled 17.
Training included drug training for investigators, firearms qualification, gang investigations conference and constitutional law updates.
