A Midway man was killed Monday night in a single-vehicle accident in the Lake George area.
According to GSP Trooper Harry Middleton, the accident happened at 1:23 a.m. in the 1300 block of Limerick Road.
Jake Cahoon, 23, was driving east reportedly at a high speed when he lost control of his 1998 Chevy Prizm. The vehicle ran into a ditch and struck a culvert, causing it to overturn.
According to the report filed by GSP Trooper Robert Barry, Cahoon was not wearing a seat belt. A family member said he was returning home from work, according to Middleton.
