The Walthourville Police Department has made two more arrests in connection with an illegal alcohol and tobacco ring raided last month.

The Walthourville Police Department has made two more arrests in connection with an illegal alcohol and tobacco ring raided last month.
Walthourville Police Chief Tracy McFadden said that Bernita Crawford Kelly and Nakita Yvette Severado were arrested and charged with two counts each of sale of alcohol without a license and one count each of sale of untaxed cigarettes, smokeless tobacco or cigars to evade tax. Crawford was arrested by Walthourville police  and Long County deputies at her home July 10 without incident. She made a first appearance July 11 and her bond was set at $3,000 cash or $6,000 property.
Severado was arrested by Walthourville and Hinesville police at her Hinesville home July 11 without incident. She made a first appearance July 12 and her bond was set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 property.
McFadden expects more arrests.
