The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office on Monday seized a large amount of homegrown marijuana near Midway.

Sheriff Steve Sikes said he and the Liberty County Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the Lake George community and seized 200 marijuana plants. Also seized were marijuana wax, several ounces of processed marijuana and several thousand dollars worth of growing equipment.

Mark Crasco, 46, was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of tools of a crime.
