The Ludowici Police Department will host its first National Night Out on Tuesday to help encourage community support in crime prevention. LPD Chief T.J. Gaskin said several other law-enforcement agencies from around the area will participate. The fun begins at 5 p.m. at Long County High School and will wrap up at 8. There will be a jaws-of-life demonstration, a helicopter landing and other exhibits. For information, call 545-2222.
