Two 3rd Infantry Division soldiers killed Sunday night in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 80 have been identified.
According to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police, Kenya Judon, 22, of Cadwell, and Dominic Perry, 19, of Southington, Conn., were heading west from Tybee Island at about 8 p.m. when Judon lost control of his 1999 Chevrolet Camaro and struck a utility pole. Both Hunter Army Airfield-based soldiers died before paramedics could get them to a hospital.
Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor.
