A Walthourville man was arrested for his alleged involvement in a stabbing that happened Friday in Long County.
According to Long County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Tom Sollosi,  Johnnie Winn, 44, got into an altercation at 6:40 p.m. with a second man at a residence on Izzard Road. Sollosi said Winn allegedly stabbed the other man in the chest with a knife, puncturing his lung. The victim was treated by EMS personnel at the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
