Pumpkins and Families ROLL Through Bryant Commons in 2020
patch roll 2020

HINESVILLE, Ga. (September 30, 2020) – Let’s take a roll through the pumpkin patch! The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority (HDDA) annual Pumpkin Patch event will look slightly different this year due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines.

In 2020, make plans to join us for the Pumpkin Roll, a drive-thru pumpkin patch event, on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at Bryant Commons (located at 438 W. Oglethorpe Hwy). Patrons for this year’s Pumpkin Roll will enter the park from Oglethorpe Highway through the back entrance – NOT the driveway next to the ITPA National Office & Telephone Museum.

All visitors will stay in their vehicles following signage through the park and the display of first responder vehicles, costumed characters, candy/activity booths and a car show. The first 450 children (through age 11) will receive a free package with crafts, activities and Halloween treats from the HDDA and local sponsors.

The Hinesville/Ft. Stewart Shrine Club will have pumpkins for sale ($15 for large/$20 for extra-large). Pumpkin proceeds are donated to the Shriners Children Hospital. Pumpkins maybe paid for in advance of the event, by calling the HDDA at 912.877.4332. All traffic will enter and exit the park with the assistance of the Hinesville Police Department. All visitors will enter through the rear gate of the park (next to the Veterans’ Memorial Walk) and exit through the main entrance (next to the ITPA National Office & Telephone Museum). The Pumpkin Roll 2020 will take place on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. - noon at Bryant Commons. This event is FREE and open to the public and will occur rain or shine.
