A petition filed in federal court Monday to allow 3rd Infantry Division soldier Spc. Marc Hall a trial at Fort Stewart was denied late Wednesday. Hall was initially arrested for releasing a rap song with allegedly threatening lyrics and later charged with allegedly communicating a threat. The charges allege Hall violated Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The complete story is in Friday's Coastal Courier.
