In business for more than 40 years, it was formerly owned by George and Babs Holtzman. Along with the real estate company, Smiley owns a property management company called Southern Coast Properties. The Holtzmans retain ownership of Holtzman Real Estate Services.
“It means a lot to my family and me to make this step and continue the legacy of Coldwell Banker Holtzman, Realtors and George and Babs Holtzman in Liberty County,” Smiley said. “Our foundation is here, our children have grown up here and we see a long and prosperous continuation of a keystone business that is so much a part of the fabric of this community.”
Along with a new owner comes a vision that includes community involvement, as well as an increase in the agents and staff, Smiley said.
“We currently have 32 active agents and five staff members, who all know and value the importance of being Realtors with expertise and industry-specific knowledge, as well as a willingness to help drive Liberty County to be the best it can be with their participation in all facets of life,” she said.
The mission of the company, she said, is to, “build lifetime relationships with clients by making them the main focus, continuously improving performance and consistently delivering excellent service.”
