Walmart’s Neighborhood Market at Highway 84 and General Stewart Way is closed for a renovation, Walmart corporate officials said.

The closure is expected to last until July 30. Meanwhile, the pharmacy and fuel station will remain open.

By condensing a traditional remodel project, which could take up to six months, the next generation of retail is delivered to customers.

Alongside the remodel team, Walmart associates will support the remodel to help us get the store completed and open to the community as quickly as possible.

The refreshed store will include the following features:

• New paint, fixtures, signage, and LED lighting for a brighter, more inviting shopping environment.
• A reconfigured layout to provide more space and convenience for shoppers.

Enhancements to support increased demand for online grocery services.

• The pharmacy will be updated and enhanced to better serve customers’ healthcare needs. During the closure, customers may shop at nearby Walmart locations, including the Supercenter at 751 West Oglethorpe Highway or the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 1422 West Oglethorpe Higway, or use pickup and delivery options via Walmart.com and the Walmart app.
