The Hinesville Police Department will host its annual Safe Kids Day event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Bryant Commons, 438 W. Oglethorpe Highway.

The free event will include a dunk tank, bounce houses, kid-friendly games, fingerprinting, tutorials on bicycle and gun safety, drunk driving education, courses on car seat installation and more.

Safe Kids Day is an annual education campaign to support life-saving programs and measures that brings together organizations from across the community to help educate children and their families on how to keep safe.
