Life Scout Cody Rozhon and Eagle Scout Donald O’Conner from Boy Scout Troop 475, sponsored by Saint Stephen The First Martyr Catholic Church, recently graduated from the National Youth Leadership Training Course.

“National Youth Leadership Training is an action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience,” Troop 475 Committee Chair Bill Gilbert said. “They can use (this training) in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.”

The six-day course delivers content in a troop and patrol outdoor setting, he said.

“Interconnecting concepts and work processes are introduced early, built upon, and aided by the use of memory aids, which allows participants to understand and employ the leadership skills much faster,” the troop committee chair said.
