State superintendent to visit Liberty Elementary

State School Superintendent Richard Woods will be in Liberty County this Wednesday morning for a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) program recognition ceremony at Liberty Elementary School, at 600 Edgewater Drive in Midway.

Superintendent Woods will present a banner to staff and students in honor of their accomplishments in satisfying the rigorous state STEM certification requirements. Liberty Elementary is only the 35th elementary school and the 60th school (K-12) overall to receive State STEM distinction out of more than 2,200 schools.
