East Liberty County American Legion Post 321 proudly announces their Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Sept. 11 beginning at 5 p.m. Pin front of the Midway Volunteer Fire Department on East Oglethorpe Avenue, Midway.

We encourage all citizens to participate in this observance and show their support for America’s law enforcement officers; EMS workers, fire department members and the members of our military.

These first responders and military members have always been the forefront of America’s response to all threats and concerns, now it is our turn to support them.

Immediately following the 9/11 observance, the post will be conducting a proper disposal ceremony for unserviceable American flags. The post officers encourage all who have unserviceable American flags to bring them to the ceremony.

Dennis P. Fitzgerald, Commander
East Liberty County American Legion Post 321.
