Letter to the editor: Time to pick up the signs
Letter to the Editor generic

Editor,

How many months, if not years, will the City of Hinesville and the Georgia Department of Transportation permit the overhead GA Highway 84 direction signs to remain damaged and strewn about the ground in the vicinity of Lowe’s at the Veterans Parkway/GA Highway 84 intersection?

These signs have been damaged and fallen to the ground for at least a year now and remain in the same spot where they first landed without being picked up or repaired. And the grass keeps being mowed around the fallen signs, so somebody should be aware of the disrepair.

Please, let’s get it addressed and be ever more mindful of the state of repair of our community.

Thank you,

Curtis Velasco. Hinesville
