Letter to the editor

Editor: Thank you to Mrs. Patricia Fleming of the Kingdom Church of Christ, formerly the Jr. Church of Christ, for successful free Christmas dinners to the Riceboro citizens. Dinners were delivered to the elderly, sick and shut-in. Thanks also for your sock drive. The socks were donated to The Woodland Health Residents on Dec. 18.

The youth department sang Christmas carols, which brought joy to many hearts.

Thanks to the Riceboro Seniors who made Christmas wreaths and donated a couple to the Woodland Health residents.

On Dec. 23, Riceboro Reach sponsored a bagged food give away at the Riceboro Youth Center.

One hundred and seven bags were given, which served 251 family members.

Thanks to SNF employees for your generous donations of barrels and boxes of canned goods, cereals and many other items.

Thanks to all other businesses and individuals for your donations, monetary and door prizes, tablets, ipad, coffee pot and more.

Thanks also to the volunteers, Mrs. Eva M. Roberts, Laura Campbell, Patricia Fleming, Linda G. Fabian, Annette Wynn, Ralph and Cheryl Ward, Rovonda Fleming, Roosevelt Reese, Kenneth Sanders, Jr., and Tommasina Williams.
